SYNOPSIS When my grandmother's house was sold, the photo album was divided as the only possible inheritance. Now, my mother and I review the few images that exist and that, for years, have shaped my family imaginary. Together, we invent a new album in which we draw the lines that unite us with my grandmother, that woman who always appears with a hard expression, without smiling.
Raquel Marques
Porto, 1979. Filmmaker, she develops her work in documentary creation, image pedagogy and film education from a feminist perspective. She has a degree in Communication Sciences from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa and a master's degree in Creative Documentary from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona. She is co-responsible for the educational projects team of Drac Màgic, a Catalan cooperative dedicated to the dissemination of audiovisual culture. Her latest work,
Tiempos de deseo has been screened at festivals such as Doclisboa, L'Alternativa and the Buenos Aires Documentary Festival, among others.
