This concert is part of the acoustic tour ‘Las canciones’, which the Malaga native begins next March, in which he wanted to highlight the importance of the songs as he so believes they deserve. Therefore, the audience will be able to enjoy his songs just as they are, with no other instrumentation than his guitar or ukulele. It will be an unmissable experience in which El Kanka will share the stories behind his lyrics in a journey through his recording career that promises special and unique moments and who knows, maybe even some surprises.
El Kanka became a self-made singer-songwriter, slowly but surely, and today he can boast of being one of the most acclaimed artists in Spain and Latin America. With five published albums, El Kanka has remained faithful to his unique sound, based on a particular fusion of sounds that give life to diverse songs with a great combination of styles. When someone hears a song by El Kanka, it is identifiable from the very first chord.
This 2023 Malaga Native of the Year in the culture sector and host of the 2024 Malaga Fair continues to exude optimism in his lyrics and create honest music based on what he feels inside. He will demonstrate this once again at the closing of the 28th Malaga Festival.
