Madrid Collage is a cinematic journey through the visual memory of Madrid, drawing from more than 80 iconic films from the 20th century. The documentary offers an archaeology of the city on film, where hundreds of fictional characters cross paths in a timeless Madrid that reveals the profound transformations of the capital and of Spain over the decades. A visual essay on collective memory, where cinema reveals itself as the most faithful chronicler of our time.

The Andalusian Film Academy, within the framework of the 29th Málaga Festival, is organizing the roundtable discussion “Performing Intimacy: How Intimate Scenes Are Created in Cinema Today.” The event focuses on the processes, protocols, and methodologies currently involved in the creation and filming of intimate scenes in the audiovisual industry.
The session will feature the participation of Rosa Estévez, president of APDICE (Professional Association of Casting Directors), who will present the new intimacy protocol for auditions; Maitane San Nicolás, vice president of AESCI (Association of Intimacy Coordination), who will explain the value of this professional role and the new working methodologies used in intimate scenes; Ramón Salazar, a film and television director with extensive experience in shooting this type of scene; and Alejandro Albarracín and Helena Kaittani, who will share their experiences before and after the implementation of these safety and protection measures for performers.
The roundtable will be moderated by Mercedes Hoyos, actress, director, and voice actress, and the event will be presented by Marta Velasco, president of the Andalusian Film Academy
