SYNOPSIS Leo is a blue collar worker haunted by financial debt living in the remote city of Acarigua, Venezuela. One day, his younger brother Alex, deaf since birth, offers him a solution: to enter a musical contest, singing a song that he has written, in order to win a cash prize that will solve his economic problems. Forced by circumstance, Leo must take a leap of faith, unearth his dormant musical talent and do the impossible to change their future, by joining their voices in an unforgettable journey.
Miguel Ángel Ferrer He is an award-winning Venezuelan filmmaker with an 18-year career in the international film and advertising industries. He began his career as a cameraman for National Geographic, working on a documentary about modern slavery and human trafficking. His feature film The Shadow of the Sun, was selected to represent Venezuela at the 2024 Oscar. The film had its world premiere at the Los Angeles International Latin Film Festival, and won 9 awards including best latin American film at the prestigious FicMonterrey. He has won dozens of awards for his short film DeMonica. His first short Culpa, participated in more than 40 festivals worldwide and was acquired by HBO for its HBO MAX platform.
