SYNOPSIS Ana has just arrived from Colombia and is workinf as a maid in a luxurious mansion where a wealthy family of art dealers spend their summer holidays. The young woman works tirelessly and without a contract, under the promise of better conditions after the summer, as long as she is discreet and quiet. But through Gisela, the maid from the neighboring house, Ana will discover that things don't quite work as she has been told, and she will learn to have a little more fun during her summer on the Costa Brava.
Miguel Faus
Barcelona, 1992. He is a screenwriter, director and producer. He's a graduate of the London Film School, where he made the short films The Death of Don Quixote (Silver Meliès at the Sitges Film Festival) and Calladita, selected at Malaga Film Festival and Palm Springs International Shortfest, and subsequently acquired by HBO Max. In 2023, he presented his debut feature film, Calladita, which adapts his short film of the same title, and stands out for being the first European film to be financed entirely with NFTs, after a pioneering funding strategy created by himself. The film is presented by Steven Soderbergh, from whom it received a post-production award at Sundance, and had its world premiere at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival. In 2021 he was selected by Variety as one of 10 Spanish filmmakers to watch.
