SYNOPSIS Ibrahim came to Spain from Guinea Conakry and now both his life and his family are in Madrid. One day, he was arrested by the police and deported to his home country because he did not have a residence permit. From that moment on, his only goal will be to return to Spain. After traveling across Africa, he settles in a refugee camp located between Africa and Europe. There, he meets Aminata, a girl who is determined to jump the fence and enter Spain. However, this is a physical feat that not everyone is capable of achieving.
Benito Zambrano Seville. He has received important awards in his career as a director: he has won the Goya Award for best new director and best screenplay for Solas in 1999 and the Goya Award for best adapted screenplay for Intemperie in 2019. In 2021 he was nominated for the Goya Award for best adapted screenplay for his latest film Pan de limón con semillas de amapola. He has directed a total of 5 feature films, which have been recognized, both nationally and internationally, at festivals such as Berlin, Cannes and San Sebastian.
