SYNOPSIS Sergio has a serious gambling problem and, after swearing to his wife that he would never gamble again, he receives a tip-off about an alleged football match-fixing. Unable to fulfill his promise, he comes back to the bookmaker to get his money back. The tip-off ends up being true, and finally, his luck is going to change. But Alejo, who also has a gambling past, breaks into the place carrying a weapon. Pablo, a GEO sniper, is being pressed by the police commissioner to serve in the robbery. The GEO sniper’s mind is somewhere else, at the hospital, where his son’s life is hanging in the balance. Fate causes Sergio and Pablo to become involved in a robbery at a bookmaker, where a shot will change their lives forever.
Juan Galiñanes
1980, Pontevedra. He studies at the Image and Sound School at La Coruña. Since 2003, he has been working at Dygra Films production company, being part of all the projects of the company. He carries on tasks of directing, editing, scripting, photography and animation, among others. In 2008, he got a Goya nomination for best animated short film with
El bufón y la infanta, and in 2005 with the animated feature film
