SYNOPSIS Chef David Yárnoz runs a high-end restaurant in the North of Spain and also heads a replica of that restaurant in Taiwan. Since he hasn't been able to visit the Asian restaurant for 3 years due to the pandemic, he needs to embark on a vital trip. When he finally manages to travel to Taiwan, besides checking up how his restaurant is doing, he will also find contrasts and common ground with locals and will make a special friendship with chef Kai Ho.
Pedro Peira
He holds a Ph.D. in Film Studies from the Complutense University of Madrid. He's also a fulbright grantee as well as a Logan Non-Fiction Program Fellow (Carey Institute of Global Good). He was previously director of sales for BocaBoca Producciones and advisory member of the Committee of Promotion of the Spanish Film Institute. He has also lectured at TAI University of the Arts and Universidad Camilo José Cela, as well as writing articles for industry magazine
Cineinforme. He currently works as an archive producer for several docu-series to be broadcast on Disney+ and Netflix.
