SYNOPSIS Vera is a former surfer who was born by the sea and is in her 4th month of pregnancy. This trip is her farewell from a life on the water to a life on land. Vera raves about the exceptionally cheap land and steps from the sea. But there lives a single woman in a tavern, she is recent widowed with a baby and a young son who, after some negotiations, regrets selling it. Vera contacts a local real estate agent, Suárez, who proposes an immoral act to keep the house. Vera accepts, driven by greed. Suárez then blackmails her.

She was born in Buenos Aires and grew up in Texas, USA, until 1981. She studied Classical Literature at the Buenos Aires University. She graduated as Director at INCAA Film School. Her fiction feature films: Smokers Only (Vagón fumador) in 2001, premiered at Venice Film Festival; Agua, 2006, premiered at Locarno Film Festival; Rabbit Woman (Mujer conejo), 2013, premiered in San Sebastián Film Festival; Rosita, 2018, premiered in Mar del Plata International Film Festival; High Tide, 2020, premiered at Sundance International Film Festival, Miami International Film Festival, Sitges International Film Festival, among others. She also directed part of The Coast Quartet, 4 autonomous films, thematically linked and sharing some characters.
