SYNOPSIS Based on a true story, Radical tells the story of a teacher in a Mexican border town who tries a radically new method to unleash the curiosity, potential, and perhaps even the genius of his students.

Christopher Zalla Kisumu, Kenya. He spent his formative years in Bolivia and Kentucky, and currently resides in Guatemala, where he has lived with his family since 2015. A director and screenwriter, he is an American filmmaker best known for his acclaimed debut feature film, Sangre de mi sangre, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. He previously directed the television film Beautiful & Twisted. His television directing credits include Law and Order: Criminal Intent. He began his film career adapting the screenplay for Brad Pitt's production company Plan B Entertainment, Marching Powder.
