SYNOPSIS On June 24, 1973, María del Carmen Gómez Uriol, aged 23 and with a two-year-old son, was shot three times by her husband as she was leaving the flat of some university friends to study. She was my sister. After the shots, an overwhelming silence enclosed her memory in the intimate and individual territory of each of the family members for more than 50 years. Now, after the long journey in search of a habitable world, the time has come to break that silence.

Alberto Gómez Uriol Born in Calatayud, Zaragoza, in 1961. He studied Film Directing at the Escuela TAI in Madrid and completed a Master's Degree in Scriptwriting for Film and Television at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona. In 2001 he moved to Almería where he has developed most of his professional career, working as a scriptwriter, director and producer in the field of fiction, television and documentary. In 2005 he co-founded the production company 29letras (2005-2012), whose productions won 82 awards at national and international festivals, were broadcast by various television stations and received international coverage. In 2016 he created the production company La Línea Azul, through which he has directed and produced his latest documentaries.
