INTERNATIONAL SALES Ander Duque, Felipe Almendros CONTACT ander@uveme.es SYNOPSIS Felipe is a renowned artist from Barcelona who, in order to survive, decides to work double shifts unloading boxes and as a courier. From that moment on, artistic expression is minimized, the environment is distanced and congestion looms in a slow combustion. Burnout thus becomes the logical sequel to the film The Art of Cold. A discouraging version from that comic and wild innocence in which Felipe plays the heroic hustler, to the man who finally gives in.
He is a painter from Barcelona who has exhibited internationally, an illustrator who has published graphic novels such as Save our souls, RIP or VIP with Penguin Random House, and a musician in the groups Sex Shop Boyz and Chez Popoff. In 2020 he won the best actor award at the Cinespaña festival in Toulouse for The Art of Cold. Burnout is his second starring role, also directed by Ander Duque.
