SYNOPSIS Based on the director's work of the same name, the film tells the story of Miquel, an 11-year-old boy, during a summer in the 1950s. His adventures in the woods and his dreams of travelling to unusual places will awaken in him a longing for freedom and...the nomadic impulse.
Jordi Esteva
Jordi Esteva, writer and photographer, is passionate about Eastern and African cultures, to which he dedicates most of his journalistic and photographic work. He lived for five years in Egypt working at Radio Cairo International. Editor-in-chief and art director of the magazine
Ajoblanco between 1987 and the summer of 1993. Since then he has written books, made documentaries and photography exhibitions. He has directed four documentary films for which he is also the screenwriter. The first three are based on previous research work collected in books and photography exhibitions. All of them have been selected and awarded at various international festivals.
