SYNOPSIS Looking at the Moment Rita Rutkowski sketches the life of a passionate woman who moves through the 20th century to the present day, driven by her unwavering dedication and tireless commitment to painting. The film shifts between spaces—home and studio—intimate places that shelter her private life. Throughout, the verses of the poet T. S. Eliot echo, weaving through the narrative.
Isidro Sánchez
Ceuta. He has a degree in Film Direction from the Andalusian School of Cinematography and is also a social educator. His debut feature film,
Don't Include Me Among You (2015), premiered at the Málaga Film Festival and went on to win Best Documentary Feature at the Alcances Documentary Film Festival (Cádiz). To date, it has been shown at over thirty national and international festivals and has been recognized as one of the most significant recent documentaries in Andalusian cinema. This recognition earned him nominations at the 2016 ASECAN Andalusian Cinema Awards for Best New Director, Best Documentary, and Best Cinematography.
The New Painters (2019) and
Aural Cuisine (2022) also premiered in Málaga.
