SYNOPSIS Amanda, You Lied is the story of Amanda and Virgi, two friends who fight to stay together and rebel against their aggressor, of a little dog whose fate will be forever linked to that of the girls, and of a grandmother who must discover what the girls are not yet able to tell in order to protect them.

Eva Libertad, Nuria Muñoz Ortín Eva Libertad is a screenwriter, director, and producer, while Nuria Muñoz Ortín is a producer and director. Since 2016, they have co-led the production company Nexus CreaFilms, where they have produced and co-directed the short films Sorda (nominated for the 2023 Goya Awards and with more than 60 national and international awards), Leo y Alex en pleno siglo 21 (with 75 selections), and Mentiste, Amanda (shortlisted for the 2025 Goya Awards). Their first feature film, Sorda (directed by Eva Libertad and produced by Nuria Muñoz Ortín), is inspired by their short film of the same name and has been selected for the 2025 Berlin Film Festival and the Málaga Film Festival.
