SYNOPSIS In Teba, at the foot of the Castle of the Star, lie the remains of James Douglas. The hero of Scottish independence, in 1330, left Scotland carrying the heart of his king, Robert Bruce, who, seeing himself on his deathbed, entrusted him with the task of fighting in the Holy Land. Fate led Douglas to join the war that Alfonso XI waged against the Kingdom of Granada. Douglas, a feared warrior who knew no defeat, died carrying his king's heart.
Kike Mesa
He studied criminology before graduating in Film in Havana. He is a director, producer, and screenwriter. For over twenty-five years, he has been dedicated to the audiovisual field. A restless creator and cultural manager, he has worked on numerous documentaries and feature films, and has launched various film and cultural initiatives.
