SYNOPSIS After being raped on New Year's Eve, Alex seeks refuge in her brother Adrián. But consumed by rage, he follows an increasingly dark path. His reaction pushes them apart, and she channels her pain through theater, embodying the vengeful character of Medea.
Gemma Blasco
Born in 1993, she graduated in 2014 in film directing and screenwriting from Bande à Part, Barcelona Film School. She has written and directed short films, advertising, and audiovisuals for theatre. In 2017, she directed her first short film,
Jauría, which premiered in the Official Selection of the Málaga Film Festival in 2018 and was selected for prestigious national and international festivals such as Gijón, ALCINE, Almería and Bogoshorts. In 2018, she directed the experimental film
El zoo, which premiered at the Gijón-FICX 2018 Film Festival, and in 2025, she will release her fiction debut,
La furia, at the prestigious USA film festival SXSW.
