SYNOPSIS Charles Thomas, an African American basketball star in 1970s Spain, shone at Barça at just 20. Charismatic and elegant, he had it all until an injury led him into addiction. One day, he vanished, and in 1980, his death was announced. But 40 years later, his best friend receives a call with an unexpected revelation.
Fèlix Colomer
Director, screenwriter, and editor born in Sabadell in 1993, with a degree from the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). He directs documentary series and films. His most notable works include
Vitals, 2021, an HBO series about COVID-19 acclaimed by both critics and audiences, and
Les vides de Fèlix in 2023, another HBO series portraying the most remarkable episodes of his life. He also directed the documentary film
Shootball (2017), which exposed the largest pedophilia scandal in Spain, the Maristas Case. Additionally, he has made two films about a Ukrainian family fleeing the war and arriving in Spain (
Sasha and
Fugir, 2016 and 2022). His three films have been showcased at numerous festivals, earning multiple awards.
