SYNOPSIS Suffering abuse marks you, conditions you, and sometimes limits you. But what happens after experiencing it? How do you reinhabit a body that no longer feels its own?
Quartz is a feature-length documentary that shows us the various ways to live after abuse. A project that speaks about what is unseen, the journey after breaking the silence and dismantling the stigma, and about learning to live again when someone has snatched away the most precious thing you had: innocence.
Daniel Ortiz Entrambasaguas
Graduated from the New York Film Academy in 2004. As a producer, he has worked on several TV commercials with various European and Asian production companies and agencies, filming in Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia, and more. He manages Danidogfilms, offering film production services throughout Spain and the LATAM region. He is also a specialist in Promos & TVC directing. Six of the music videos he filmed have been awarded Best Video of the Year in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2014, and 2015, working with the most popular artists in Spain and LATAM. His short films have been selected at national and international qualifying film festivals, with
Quartz 7:11 being listed among the 101 Best Documentary Short Films at the 97 Academy Awards and shortlisted for the 15th Goya Awards at the 37 Edition.
