SYNOPSIS Guillermo Jiménez Smerdou is Europe's longest-serving journalist. At 98 years of age, he has published more than 8,000 film reviews, thousands of articles and reports, hosted a successful radio programme for over 30 years, contributed to almost all Spanish newspapers, promoted the creation of a film festival and invented the invisible cinema.

Director, producer and screenwriter of documentary films, his films have been screened at the world's most prestigious documentary film festivals, from IDFA in the Netherlands to Hot Docs in Canada, as well as Documenta Madrid (a festival that has awarded him twice). Co-creator of the transmedia project Las Sinsombrero, which includes three documentaries and a webdoc co-produced with RTVE.
