SYNOPSIS Through the unique perspective of El Langui,
Ganas de vivir is an intimate portrait of Paralympic athlete Desirée Vila, who, after losing a leg in her teenage years due to medical negligence, managed to transform that life-changing rupture into a driving force for self-improvement. Far from victimhood, the film delves into her journey toward positively accepting her destiny, forgiveness, and the construction of a new identity, celebrating the strength of those who dare to live without fear and to change the way disability is perceived.

Known as "El Langui", is one of Spain’s leading figures representing people with disabilities. Born with cerebral palsy, he has turned resilience into a creative driving force and a strong social commitment. A founding member of the rap group
La Excepción, a two-time Goya Award–winning actor, director, writer, and speaker, he is currently preparing his first feature-length documentary as a director while combining his artistic career with high-level Paralympic sport.
