SYNOPSIS In 2009, Sahrawi human rights defender Aminetu Haidar was expelled from Western Sahara by Morocco. Held in Lanzarote, she began a 32-day hunger strike that sparked an international wave of solidarity and a major diplomatic crisis.

Her work focuses on socially and politically engaged non-fiction cinema, addressing feminism, migration, and human rights through a committed, intimate approach to the people she films.
