SYNOPSIS In 2026, the Verdi Cinemas, Barcelona's oldest operating cinema, will celebrate their centenary. With humor and through the eyes of two young girls, the film explores the history of the cinema and the people who have brought it to life. It paints a portrait of a cinema whose influence extends throughout Gràcia, the city of Barcelona, and several generations of cinephiles. The Verdi is, today as it was then, a place of encounter and passion for cinema.

In 2022, she premiered
Maruja, her first professional short film, with the support of ICAA and ICEC, selected in over 40 international festivals, winning 12 awards and receiving a Goya nomination. In 2023, she was awarded a scholarship by DAMA to pursue the Master’s in Contemporary Film Studies at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, where she developed
Súper Clara, the second part of her trilogy, funded with ICAA grants. In 2024, she received the Barcelona Crea Scholarship for the development of her first feature fiction film.
