SYNOPSIS Plus Ultra tells the story of four Spanish aviators who, in 1926, crossed the Atlantic in a single aircraft, flying from Spain to Argentina. An unprecedented journey that captured the visionary spirit of an era driven by technological progress and collective dreams. Later obscured by political tensions, the flight unfolds against a turbulent Europe, where four military men with opposing ideologies shared the cockpit to achieve a feat that went beyond sport. In 2026, this historic journey marks its 100th anniversary.
Elías Pérez
Graduated in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Seville. Since the age of 16, he has been developing audiovisual projects as a director, screenwriter, and producer, with works recognized at national and international festivals. Among them are
El Prenauta (2018),
Se Van Sus Naves (2022), and
Carroña (2024), which make up the Water Trilogy.
Plus Ultra is his first feature length documentary.
