SYNOPSIS Mallorca, 2007. Chusa (Lolita Flores) is the powerful matriarch of Son Canal, a settlement that stands at the epicenter of drug trafficking on the island. A real estate development threatens her power and her empire. Her niece Nela (Asia Ortega), newly released from prison, uncovers a dark secret about Chusa that puts her loyalty at risk. As violence escalates, Nela is left with only two choices: loyalty or freedom.

Holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Navarra and trained in cinematography at the Havana Film School. He worked as a script supervisor and assistant director before directing eight short films, including
Flores, which won 23 awards. His feature debut,
