SYNOPSIS Almost two decades have passed since María lost Manuel and was left alone to care for Nicolás and Manuela. Times change, farmers migrate, and the lack of labourers encourages the arrival of farmhands from poorer areas, but also ambitious businessmen willing to exploit her, without attachment or ties. For the first time in a long time, María notices someone, but the memory of Manuel will take its toll on her doubts; she will do everything possible to avoid the inevitable.
