Si es martes es asesinato (If its Tuesday it must be murder), the new Spanish series from Disney Plus+ has been premiered at the Festival de Málaga
Part of the cast of the series was present at the Cine Albéniz for the premiere of two of the episodes
On Tuesday 10 March, the Festival de Málaga hosted the presentation of the film Si es martes, es asesinato, a series that mixes comedy and mystery to narrate the vicissitudes that befall a group of Spanish tourists in Lisbon. The series was screened this afternoon at the Albéniz cinema and forms part of the Out of Competition Series.
The presentation was attended by the main characters, Inma Cuesta, Álex García and Ana Wagener, accompanied by the producers of the series , Luis Ferrón and Sofía Fábregas.
For Inma Cuesta, this series "combines many genres", a mixture of comedy, mystery and a touch of thriller. She also assured that "more than one person in the room would want to leave it wanting to play Cluedo".
Meanwhile, Álex García returns to the touch of comedy contained in all the episodes, recalling how special it is for him to present it at the festival, where he presented one of his films for the first time 15 years ago.
Ana Wagener also commented on how "special" it is to have the presentation of a series in a cinema because, she says, series are usually seen "at home and with the family". Likewise, Sofía Fábregas affirmed how pleased they are to see the series with the audience.
From the production side, Luis Ferrón said he was happy the series is being shared for the first time "outside of the closest team", adding that it is a "very nice and friendly" project, and highlighting the team collaboration "between the Spaniards and the Portuguese".
A group of Spanish tourists, a dilapidated hotel and some dark secrets that come together on a holiday in Lisbon are the ingredients that combine in this Disney Plus original. The trip quickly goes awry when one of them is found dead in his room the morning after their arrival, and four of them, fans of crime and mystery novels, begin to investigate whether someone on the trip could be the murderer.
Biel Montoro and Saida Benzal complete the cast that has been in Malaga for the presentation of this mystery and comedy series, the new Spanish-language series from Disney Plus, which premieres on 31 March.
