Mexico, 1988. Director, editor and scriptwriter, member of the Colectivo Colmena. He directed the short films The Phantom Pain (FICM 2013) and Firefly (Berlinale). His first feature film Mostro had its world premiere at the 74th Locarno Film Festival, where it won the Boccalino D'oro of the Swiss Independent Critics. Lumbrensueño (Firedream), his next feature film, produced with the support of the Biennale College Cinema, premiered during the 80th Venice Film Festival and won the Bisato D’Oro for the Cinema to Come. He's currently financing Godspeed Satan, his third film.
