SYNOPSIS The love for dance through an unique life, the life of the famous dancer, teacher and choreographer Víctor Ullate. In December 2019 the news broke: 'Víctor Ullate's Ballet closes'. And in the blink of an eye, more than 40 years of dance history in Spain disappeared. But who is Víctor Ullate? Ullate always against the current, sometimes controversial but charming, fighter and unwavering worker, has lived an unique path led by his great passion: dancing.
Elena Cid
Director, scriptwriter and producer from Aragon, graduated in Chemical Sciences and Marketing and Advertising, but despite this, she soon began to write, produce and direct short films of different genres for which she received several awards and selections. In the field of television, she is part of the team that starts the mystery program Cuarto Milenio, headed by Iker Jiménez for Cuatro, as editor and then coordinator. She returns to direction and production, creating the production company Disentropic Films, with which she makes the documentary feature film Bécquer and the Witches, which won four Simón Awards of Aragonese Cinema, among others. Ullate. The Dance of Life is her second feature documentary film.
