SYNOPSIS Carmine, a Neapolitan chef settled in Málaga, has been trapped between stoves and invoices for over a decade. His cuisine is a journey without a fixed destination, a back-and-forth between his culinary heritage and his obsession with reinventing it. In every dish, every recipe, he seeks perfection and, with it, the coveted Michelin star.
Jorge Colomer
Born in Málaga, he holds a diploma in Cinematography from the Escuela de Cine y Audiovisual de Madrid (ECAM).
L'interpretazione is the first short film that Jorge Colomer directs alone. His style is characterised by the search for the aura that each work requires, with a rigorous and naturalistic use of light. He has worked for theatre and dance companies as a lighting designer, as well as a director and DOP for film and advertising. Particularly noteworthy is his longstanding collaboration with Luz Arcas' dance company La Phármaco, with whom he was nominated for Best Lighting Design for
Somos la guerra at the Max Awards 2022.
