Santi Amodeo In the early stages of his career, he teamed up with fellow Andalusian Alberto Rodríguez (El factor Pilgrim). Later, as a solo director, he was nominated for Best New Director at the Goya Awards for his film Astronautas, which was selected by Variety as one of the ten best European films of the year. He has participated in most of the major film festivals worldwide: Toronto, Shanghai, AFI Fest in Los Angeles, Mar del Plata, Karlovy Vary, Berlin, Sundance, Locarno, among others. In Spain, he has been featured in festivals such as Málaga, where he won the Best Actor award; San Sebastián, receiving an honorable mention in the New Directors section; and Valladolid, also receiving an honorable mention in the New Directors category, among others. His feature film Cabeza de perro was the first Spanish film to win an award at the Shanghai International Film Festival, the most prestigious in Asia. Alberto Rodríguez Sevillian, he is one of the most outstanding directors in Spanish cinema today , having studied image and sound at the Faculty of Information Sciences at the University of Seville, andin 2000, together with Santi Amodeo, he shot his first film, El factor Pilgrim, which was presented at Zabaltegui and received a special mention for new directors that year in San Sebastian. His solo feature debut, El traje, premiered in Berlin in 2002 and Los Tigres in the Panorama section. He has achieved great success with films such as Grupo 7, La isla Mínima or with his latest movie
