SYNOPSIS In the early hours of November 8, 1930, the Parisian lawyer Fleury set out in search of the right light to complete a landscape film around Lake Le Thuit. That same day, the lawyer died under mysterious circumstances.

After various works in substandard formats, he made his feature film debut with
Los motivos de Berta in 1983. His subsequent career, balanced between documentary and fiction, reveals a strong poetic spirit simultaneously influenced by different moments in film history: from the essence of the Lumière brothers to the diaries of Jonas Mekas, with whom he established a filmed correspondence in 2011; from Chaplin and Bresson to Víctor Erice.
En construcción (2001), which emerged from the UPF Master’s program, won the Goya Award for Best Documentary and the Special Jury Prize at the San Sebastián Film Festival.
