A very special concert given by Tulsa at the Cine Albéniz will open MaF 2025, concluded by The New Raemon & McEnroe at the Teatro Echegaray
The opening of the extended programme of the 28th Malaga Festival will take place on the 20th of February with the closing on the 13th of March

MaF – Málaga de Festival 2025 will begin on the 20th of February with a very special concert at the Cine Albéniz, in which the singer Tulsa will present her latest work, Amadora, with several guest artists, at 8:30 p.m. at the Cine Albéniz with a price of 18 euros. It will be the first taste of the extended program of the 28th Málaga Festival (14th-23rd of March), which will once again make the city burst with culture with numerous activities. MaF 2025 will end on the 13th of March at the Echegaray Theatre (8:30 p.m., 15 euros) with The New Raemon & McEnroe, who will present Nuevos bosques in a concert that will feature the poet Isabel Bono.

In her seventh studio album, which has earned Tulsa the latest National Prize for Contemporary Music, she immerses us in a series of compositions that reflect on everyday violence against women, pain and inequality. Tulsa and her band invite us to reflect on love, motherhood, friendship and identity thanks to a selection of songs that alternat between musical and scenic language.

Miren Iza (Tulsa) is a Basque composer and singer who began her musical career in the late 90s singing in English with the female punk pop band Electrobikinis. Following their split in 2002, she began writing songs in Spanish and in 2007, the year in which she was nominated for a Latin Grammy for best new artist, she released the first of seven albums that she released under the stage name Tulsa.

For their part, The New Raemon and McEnroe join forces again nine years after Lluvia y truenos to present Nuevos bosques, thirteen songs that dissect everyday life and focus on the importance of love. Between the elegant pop of Ramón Rodríguez and the austere folk of Ricardo Lezón, Nuevos bosque is presented as one of the most powerful studio albums of the year. The closing concert features the participation of the poet Isabel Bono.

Tickets for both concerts go on sale today from 6:00 p.m. at the box offices of the Teatro Cervantes, Teatro Echegaray and Cine Albéniz and online through Uniticket.
