The 28th Festival de Málaga once again hosted the Working Meeting of the Andalusian Audiovisual and Digital Content Cluster (LAND), which held its third edition within the framework of the event. Since the first meeting was held in 2023, the group has been meeting with the aim of highlighting and taking stock of the Andalusian audiovisual industry.

The meeting was attended by leading authorities and professionals from the sector, including Antonio Sanz, Minister of the Presidency, Home Affairs, Social Dialogue and Administrative Simplification of the Andalusian Regional Government; Patricia del Pozo, Minister of Culture and Sport; the president of the Cluster, Gustavo Fuentes; and the director general of RTVA, Juande Mellado. Among other personalities, Isabel Cabrera, deputy director of Canal Sur Radio and Television; Juan Vargas, director of Innovation, Business and Communication of RTVA; Juanma Blanco Poley, director of Canal Sur Media; and numerous professionals of the autonomous sector, as well as representatives of companies and entities that are part of LAND.

Juan Antonio Vigar, Director of the Festival de Málaga, accompanied by Mariana Pineda, Minister for Culture and Historical Heritage of Malaga City Council, welcomed the large group representing Andalusian audiovisuals to the Cervantes Theatre. Subsequently, the Regional Ministry of the Presidency and of Culture and Sport of the Andalusian Regional Government took the opportunity to explain the meaning of this meeting to the media, as well as to explain the points that were subsequently discussed with the other members of the meeting.

In this way, the cluster has become a space to strengthen ties between the institutions and companies that make up the Andalusian audiovisual ecosystem in order to promote the development of the industry in the region.
