In July and August, the Albéniz Cinema Film Library schedules a selection of the best classic comedies of all time
It will screen nine feature films in original version with Spanish subtitles from 10 July to 28 August


Some Like it Hot, The Party, Singin' in the Rain, Manhattan, The Big Lebowski, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Being There, Sherlock, Jr. and Cops are the titles scheduled by the Albéniz Cinema from 10 July to 28 August in a season dedicated to the best classic comedies in the history of cinema.
 
Screenings at the Albéniz Film Library have so far obtained significant public support and aroused interest with a programme of classic films in original version with subtitles. The selection to be screened this summer includes:
 
  • 10 July: Some Like it Hot by Billy Wilder.
  • 17 July: The Party by Blake Edwards.
  • 24 July: Singin' in the Rain by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly.
  • 31 July: Manhattan by Woody Allen.
  • 7 August: The Big Lebowski by Joel and Ethan Coen.
  • 14 August: Breakfast at Tiffany's by Blake Edwards.
  • 21 August: Being There by Hal Ashbey.
  • 28 August: Sherlock, Jr. and Cops by Buster Keaton (double bill).
All films will be screened on Thursdays at 8 pm at a general price of 6 euros (5 euros for Club Albéniz members).
 
Tickets are on sale from today Wednesday at 6 pm at the Albéniz Cinema box office, Cervantes Theatre and online via the platform www.unientradas.es
