This October, the Albéniz Cinema’s Film Library is presenting a selection of all-time masterpieces from the history of cinema
It will screen five feature films in their original versions with Spanish subtitles on Thursdays at 8 pm
The Philadelphia Story, Casablanca, Ladri di biciclette (The Bicycle Thief), The Searchers and
À bout de souffle (Breathless) are the films that the
Albéniz Cinema will be showing from 2 to 30 October in a cycle dedicated to great works from the history of cinema under the title
Masterpieces.
Screenings at the
Albéniz Film Library have so far obtained significant public support and aroused interest with a programme of classic films in original version with subtitles. The selection to be screened this summer includes:
MASTERPIECES
- 2 October: The Philadelphia Story, George Cukor, United States, 1940
- 9 October: Casablanca, Michael Curtiz, United States, 1942
- 16 October: Ladri di biciclette (The Bicycle Thief), Vittorio De Sica, Italy, 1948
- 23 October: The Searchers, John Ford, United States, 1956
- 30 October: À bout de souffle (Breathless), Jean-Luc Godard, France, 1960
All films will be screened on Thursdays at 8 pm at a general price of 6 euros (5 euros for Club Albéniz members).
