In January and February, Cine Albéniz schedules a selection of Park Chan-wook's works at its Film Library
The cycle starts on the 22nd and will take place on Thursdays at 7.30 pm, ending with the preview of 'No other choice’ on 12 February


The Cine Albéniz Film Library will dedicate the months of January and February to South Korean director and screenwriter Park Chan-wook. Screened on Thursdays at 7.30 pm in original version with Spanish subtitles, the cycle is entitled 'Revenge and obsession: the cinema of Park Chan-wook’ and will begin on 22 January with Oldboy, continuing with Decision to leave and The Handmaiden. It will end on 12 February with the preview of the latest feature film by this acclaimed author, No other choice, which will be released on 13 February.
 
Screenings at the Albéniz Film Library have so far obtained significant public support and aroused interest with a programme of classic and films d’auteur in original version with Spanish subtitles.
 
REVENGE AND OBSESSION: THE CINEMA OF PARK CHAN-WOOK
 
  • 22 January: Oldboy (Oldeuboi), South Korea, 2003
  • 29 January: Decision to leave (Heojil kyolshim), South Korea, 2022
  • 5 February: The Handmaiden, South Korea, 2016
  • 12 February: No other choice, South Korea, 2025. PREVIEW

All films will be screened in hall 3 on Thursdays at 7.30 pm at a general price of 6 euros (5 euros for Club Albéniz members).
 
Tickets are on sale from today at the Albéniz Cinema box office, Cervantes Theatre and online via the platform www.unientradas.es
