Spanish Screenings Content will present a total of 133 Spanish productions in exclusive sessions for the international industry

Spanish Screenings Content, the only official market for the sale and promotion of Spanish cinema, reaches its twentieth edition and will be held from 10 to 12 March. The Festival de Málaga initiative, within the framework of MAFIZ, its industry area, attracts sales companies, festival programmers and financial agents and has positioned itself as the reference event for the acquisition and distribution of Spanish productions around the world.

Spanish Screenings Content will offer the international industry the opportunity to discover 133 Spanish titles in market screenings at the Rosaleda Cinemas on 10, 11, and 12 March. These screenings will be complemented by Market premieres at the Albéniz Cinemas of: Pioneras: solo querían jugar / Another League by Marta Díaz López de Díaz, La Carn by Joan Porcel and Nuda propiedad / Ownerships, by Alberto Utrera.

At the Rosaleda Cinemas screenings, 42 productions will be shown in Market Screenings; 13 in Neo Screenings, the section dedicated to innovative titles; 3 in Málaga Film Festival, featuring films programmed in the Official Competition and ZonaZine sections of the Festival de Málaga; 26 in Next from Spain, showcasing trailers and footage of films in post-production; and Remake It!, to promote the sale of remake rights. The sessions will be complemented by Regional Film Hub, where the autonomous communities will have the opportunity to present recent or post-production films they have supported.

Finally, and for the first time, the Spanish Screenings Content Film Library will be hosted on the Cinando platform, where the screening schedule will also be published.

Spanish Screenings Content is organised by the Malaga City Council, through the Festival de Málaga, with the collaboration of ICAA, ICEX and A/C Acción Cultural Española.
