The
Festival de Málaga, together with
Málaga City Council—through its
Department of Social Rights, Equality, Accessibility, and Inclusive Policies—is once again organising the
Solidarity Space this year, in collaboration with the "
la Caixa" Foundation. This event will take place from
7 to 14 March in Plaza de la Merced as part of the
29th Festival de Málaga.
The Solidarity Space aims to open the Festival to diverse social groups and promote their inclusion. To this end, more than
40 associations and social organisations from the city will participate, promoting and enhancing the visibility of these community groups. This seventh edition will again feature a model based on
educational activities (free and open to the public) presented by the participating associations, covering a wide range of topics. It is therefore a cross-cutting initiative, with activities of all kinds (screenings, round tables, workshops, concerts…) with an inclusive and social theme.
