SYNOPSIS It has been 10 months since Rafi began his transition and it has been much longer since he hasn't been able to enjoy his favorite activity: swimming in the sea. His dysphoria brings him deep sorrow. With the help of his best friend Carolina, Rafi will embark on a journey to say goodbye to Raffaela, his former self, before he can assume his true identity. On an empty and wild beach, they make a farewell ritual to 'bury' Raffaela, face his dysphoria and take a dip in the sea.

Afioco Gnecco

Director, filmmaker and screenwriter Italo-Chilean. As a non-binary trans person, he started his audiovisual activism in 2016, with the NGO Apoyo Positivo. In 2017, together with this organization, he created the series Indetectables. In 2023, he premiered his short film La acampada at Malaga Film Festival taht won the Biznaga audience award. He is currently immersed in the development of his first feature film Mapá.

Carolina Yuste

Spanish actress, winner of the 2019 Goya Award for best supporting actress for her character Paqui in Carmen y Lola. She combines film, theater and television. In 2020, she makes her first foray into directing with Hamsia, a play presented at the Autumn Festival in Madrid. Carolina and Afioco are shooting the documentary Este cuerpo mío, winner of the Abycine Lanza.
