There is a field in the East of Turkey where the original wheat harvested by mankind grows. In the border town of Rio Grande City, Texas a man enters a supermarket store with an armed weapon. These 2 places are connected by an invisible desire, a desire to open fire to everything considered sacred.
Tin Dirdamal
Born 165 kilometers south of the US-Mexico border, self-taught filmmaker and accidental artist with formal studies in engineering. Also self-taught in psychology and architecture, his most useful tools are doubt and contradiction. He directs, produces, acts, writes, does camera and sound, composes music, edits, and designs the sound for his own films. He has made 4 feature films and has worked as an editor on 4 feature films of other filmmakers. His films have been shown and awarded at some of the most important art venues and film festivals around the world including: The Venice Biennale, Sundance, Visions du Reél, IDFA, L’Alternativa, La Mostra de São Paulo, Jihlava, Torino, Mar del Plata, BAFICI, FICUNAM, Ambulante and DokuFest.
