SYNOPSIS Ángel lives in a cabin in the forests of Segovia, his only company being his mother, Martina, a passionate and overbearing woman. Every day, he hunts wolves and other wild animals to protect the deer in a wildlife reserve. To survive, he sells meat and pelts. In the nearby village, Ángel meets Milagros, a young woman who has escaped from a reformatory and is the girlfriend of a notorious criminal, Cuqui. Attracted to her, the hunter decides to take her in at his home, where the problems begin to unfold.
