SYNOPSIS Isi, Noe, and their cat Rufino live together in a modest rental apartment. Their lives are turned upside down when their landlady announces a rent hike they simply can’t afford. From that moment on, a desperate search for a new home begins in an increasingly unaffordable city. But just when all seems lost, Francesca Sacará appears: an eccentric real estate agent ready to offer them the most outrageous and surreal deals on the market, dragging them into a true contemporary odyssey.
Marta García Ruiz Young filmmaker trained in film directing and specializing in editing, her work stands out for its narrative precision and strong visual rhythm. La última oferta is her debut and first professional project, a fresh and ironic short film that humorously explores contemporary issues such as new forms of cohabitation and housing insecurity, establishing her as a promising new voice in Spanish cinema with a critical perspective.
