SYNOPSIS At the source of the Apulco River, the people of Tecoltemic defend their territory from the Canadian mining company Almaden Minerals. Alongside them, Indigenous communities of the Sierra Norte de Puebla fight against extractive projects that endanger the environment and peasant life. Throughout the journey across the mountain landscapes, while they work, cook, dance, and sing, the protagonists show, through the stories of their struggle, that when people’s lives are under threat, the organized community says No!
