SYNOPSIS The children reflect on an event from 1955: the expedition of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl to Rapa Nui, which drew worldwide attention. In a context of military control and fractured identity, Rapa Nui man Lázaro Hotu challenges the belief that his people had lost their ancestral knowledge and leads the raising of the first moai in the modern era. This act becomes a moment of collective encounter. Through inherited memory, the film reflects on dignity, resistance and transmission.
