SYNOPSIS Divorced and estranged for twenty years, Juan and Gloria travel to Spain where their daughter, with whom they have no contact, has been found dead. Upon arrival, they discover that they have a grandson whose whereabouts are unknown. They decide to stay until they find him. Their challenge will be to navigate this journey together without rehashing the conflicts of the past.
Ángeles González-Sinde
With a degree in Classical Philology, she studied film at the American Film Institute. She is the author of screenplays such as
Mentiras y gordas, La vida que te espera, Heroína, and
La buena estrella, for which she won the Goya Award for Best Original Screenplay. She made her directorial debut with
La suerte dormida (Goya for Best New Director), followed by
Una palabra tuya and
El comensal. She has also written for television series such as
Amar es para siempre and
Bosé.
