SYNOPSIS Chema works at the local market in a small town in northwest Spain. His day starts early; he takes orders, hauls boxes of ice and fish, carries packages of seafood. After a hard working day he goes back home as usual. But this afternoon he receives a phone call that will disturb a life he is used to; it is the past that returns.

He studied Literature and Philosophy in Santiago de Compostela and Madrid. Faced with the difficulties in carrying out his projects, he decided to establish, together with Anna Kulyk, the production company Nova Industria Films. Nova Industria was born with the intention of carrying out projects where artistic independence and respect for other cinematographic times, both within the films and in the way they are produced, prevails, projects committed to another economy of cinema. O frío is his first short film and the first production of Nova Industria Films. His second short film, Home que foxe, is currently in post-production.
