SYNOPSIS The Seed navigates through the intricacies of the human mind and the pursuit of meaning in an increasingly routine world. At a bar, the protagonist shares his existential bewilderment with an attentive bartender. As he grapples to comprehend his place in the world, he questions the very nature of reality and delves into the need to transcend the ordinary through conversations with his psychiatrist and a mysterious woman.
Daniel Ortiz Díaz
Born in Malaga in 1976, he quickly awakens his interest in the audiovisual world by entering the realm of short films. His background as a Graphic Designer and 3D Artist led to his first animated short film,
La plaga (2002), being chosen to represent his city at the Athens Biennial for young creators. Subsequently, as part of the Niños Cabra Collective, he directed various award-winning fiction short films in both national and international festivals. With
The Seed he solidifies his creative talent, immersing us in his personal dreamlike universe and the quest to find our place in the world.
