SYNOPSIS In the spring of 1986, an explosion occurs in Chernobyl and a girl named Mimi arrives in a small town in western Finland. She immediately fills the life of 15-year-old Mariia with light. Twenty years later, Mariia returns home to care for her sick mother, and memories of that momentous summer begin to surface.
