Marco La Via born December 17, 1990 in Santa Barbara, is a French-American director. In 2012, he co-directed the political documentary
Le Populisme au féminin with Hanna Ladoul and Matthieu Cabanes. The documentary was broadcast on La Chaîne parlementaire and TV5 Monde. In 2016, his short film
Diane from the Moon won the Audience Award at the Seattle Lesbian and Gay Film Festival. After moving to the United States, Marco La Via and Hanna Ladoul shot their first feature film,
Nous les coyotes, which was presented at the 71st edition of the Cannes Film Festival as part of the ACID2 program. The film was released in theaters in France on December 12, 2018.
